Rosa Christen is a sculptor, painter, and multi-media artist from Portland, Oregon.

While studying for a degree in computer science at Skidmore College, Rosa took drawing, sculpture, and painting classes, showing work in the Skidmore Juried Student Exhibitions in 2020 and 2022, and winning the Skidmore Shop Award for metalworking. After she graduated, Rosa continued to study sculpture and painting at Portland Community College, where she showed work in the juried student exhibitions Making our Mark in 2024 and ART OUT LOUD in 2025, winning the People’s Choice Award for her painting “Reflection” in 2025. Rosa is now studying for a Studio Art Post Baccalaureate Certificate at Brandeis University, and just recently showed work in the Post Baccalaureate Exhibition in the Dreitzer Gallery in March 2026.
